- GENERAL
The Ministry of Finance Call for Paper 2026, organized by the Directorate General of Taxes in collaboration with the Directorate General of Economic and Fiscal Strategy, is an academic initiative that invites researchers, academics, practitioners, and policy analysts, both from within Indonesia and abroad, to submit scientific papers that focus on the area of taxation. All submissions will undergo a rigorous selection and review process, and selected authors will be invited to present their work at the International Tax Conference 2026. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to win Best Paper Awards and prizes. Selected papers will also have the opportunity to be published in Scientax: Jurnal Kajian Ilmiah Perpajakan Indonesia (ejurnal.pajak.go.id), a SINTA 3-indexed journal, or as a part of an edited volume to be published by Gramedia.
The Ministry of Finance Call for Paper 2026 objectives are listed as follows:

- To produce rigorous analyses and papers in the area of state revenue policies aligned with the theme (evaluation or policy recommendations);
- To advance and broaden insights into the implementation of state revenue policies in Indonesia;
- To promote fair and impartial analyses from external stakeholders; and
- To contribute to the development and implementation of forward-looking state revenue policies.

- GENERAL TERMS AND GUIDELINES
The general terms and guidelines for manuscript submission to the Ministry of Finance Call for Paper 2026 are as follows:

- Manuscripts are the result of research, study, or scientific review in the area of taxation and have never been published;
- Manuscripts must be written in English or Indonesian. Manuscripts in Indonesian selected to be presented in the conference must be translated and presented in English (for the conference);
- Manuscripts are written within 10—20 pages, including references and appendices;
- Citations and references should use the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th style;
- Manuscripts must be written using the provided template that can be downloaded from
s.kemenkeu.go.id/cfpkemenkeu2026 or ejurnal.pajak.go.id;

- The file must be submitted in a Microsoft Word file format;
- The deadline for the manuscript submission is 17 July 2026 at 23:59 (Jakarta Time). Late submission would not be considered; and

- REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
The registration and manuscript submission procedures for the Ministry of Finance Call for Papers 2026 are as follows:

- Participation is open to all nationalities (both Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals);
- Participants must complete the registration process through the registration form available at s.kemenkeu.go.id/cfpkemenkeu2026;
- Participants must upload an author’s declaration letter using the template provided at
s.kemenkeu.go.id/cfpkemenkeu2026;

- Participants must submit the manuscript and the author’s declaration letter through the submission form available at s.kemenkeu.go.id/cfpkemenkeu2026 to be included in the Call for Paper; and
- Participants are allowed to submit more than one manuscript.
- CONFERENCE
The information regarding the conference shall be as follows:

- The authors of the selected manuscripts, that have undergone the review process, are eligible to participate in the conference and will have the opportunity to present their papers in English during the parallel sessions. The presentation slides must be prepared in English;
- The authors of the selected manuscripts will have the opportunity to proceed with publication in the Scientax Journal and must be committed to completing the publication process; and
- Further information regarding the conference, presentation, and publication will be provided later by the organizing committee.
