The Permanent Establishments and Expatriates Tax Office Inaugurates New Service and Consultation Room

Head of the Permanent Establishments and Expatriates Tax Office (Badora Tax Office), Natalius, inaugurated a new service and consultation room on the 1st floor of Badora Tax Office, Jalan Taman Makam Pahlawan Kalibata, Pancoran, South Jakarta (Wednesday, 11/26). The inauguration, attended by all Badora Tax Office employees, is a strategic step to strengthen tax services and optimize state revenue at Badora Tax Office.

“With these more modern and representative facilities, I hope that tax services will be more optimal, able to meet the needs of the community, and encourage increased taxpayer compliance,” said Natalius while directly observing the service facility named “Badora One Stop Services Hub”.

Natalius explained that the new service and consultation room being inaugurated was previously used as the Integrated Service Center (TPT) of the Badora Tax Office. Since last year, the TPT has operated from the Integrated Service Center at the Foreign Investment II Tax Office along with seven other Integrated Service Centers in the Kalibata Tax Complex.

“To optimize space utilization and improve service quality for taxpayers, we revitalized the old area into a meeting room with taxpayers, so taxpayers no longer need to go upstairs to meet with Badora Tax Office employees,” explained Natalius.

This new facility, added Natalius, is designed to be modern and representative, equipped with a taxpayer consultation room, meeting rooms, and disability-friendly infrastructure to ensure inclusive public services.

Garda Budiman, a taxpayer representative who visited the new service room, gave his testimony. “In my opinion, the Badora Tax Office room is very modern, especially in terms of cleanliness. The meeting room for discussions is also more comfortable. Hopefully, it will continue to improve and be maintained,” said Garda.

The service and consultation room, located on the first floor of the Badora Tax Office, features a main room characterized by a dominant palette of white and light brown colors. The main room is where the tax counselor provides helpdesk consultation services. The other three rooms are used for meetings and counseling, as well as discussing audit results. Behind the service and consultation room is the Section of Tax Service room, which has also been renovated.

Badora Tax Office itself is a vertical unit of the DGT under the Special Jakarta Regional Tax Office, which serves taxpayers in the form of permanent establishments, foreign nationals who have become domestic tax subjects, international organization and their officials, foreign representatives and their officials, and individuals or entities that are Electronic Systems Trade or E-Commerce.
