R. DASTO LEDYANTO, S.H., M.Si

Born in Surabaya on December 2, 1966, R. Dasto Ledyanto earned his Bachelor of Law degree with a specialization in Civil Law from Airlangga University in 1990. He later pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Indonesia, obtaining a Master of Science in Tax Administration in 2003.

He began his career as a Civil Service Candidate (CPNS) on January 1, 1992, and has since progressed through a series of strategic structural positions within the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT). His administrative career commenced in 2006 as Head of Division of Tax Objections, Appeals, and Deductions at West Java III Regional Tax Office, followed by a similar role at South Jakarta Regional Tax Office in 2007. In 2008, he was appointed Head of Subdirectorate of Withholding Tax and Individual Income Tax Regulations at the Directorate of Income Tax Regulations II.

In 2012, he served as an Advisor to the Director General for Tax Extensification and Intensification Affairs before being appointed Director of Potential, Compliance, and Revenue in 2013. In 2015, he was entrusted with leading Central Java I Regional Tax Office, before returning to headquarters in 2016 as Director of Extensification and Valuation. His strategic responsibilities continued as he served as Director of Information and Commuunication Technology (2019), followed by Director of Tax Data and Information (2019–2024). On September 2, 2024, he was appointed Head of West Java II Regional Tax Office.

In recognition of his dedication and contributions, he has received numerous awards, including the Satyalancana Karya Satya XX Year Medal (2021) and the Satyalancana Karya Satya XXX Year Medal (2022) from the President of the Republic of Indonesia. He also represented Indonesia at the 49th Annual Meeting of SGATAR in 2019 and received various institutional accolades, including contributing to the achievement of DGT’s unqualified audit opinion (WTP) for ten consecutive years (2011–2021) and recognition at DGT IT Summit in 2021.
